Protection systems and transport biological samples
The ADR and the circular of the Ministry of Health No. 3 08/05/03 ( “Recommendations for the safe transport of infectious materials and diagnostic samples”) required for the transport of biological material (blood test tubes and containers urine) that this material is transported in three containers: primary container (this is the blood tube or the container of the urine), the secondary container and a tertiary container.
The secondary container must have the following characteristics: an airtight and watertight, be equipped with an absorbent material for all organic content inserted therein and, with regard to the tubes, being able to transport the same in a vertical position.
All secondary containers are washable and sterilizable.

The Vacuette® VTC cylindrical container for 12 tubes is designed for customers who need to transport small quantities of tubes. The container has a hermetic screw closure to prevent the accidental spillage of biological liquids and is supplied with an absorbent tube holder that completely wraps the sample keeping the tubes in vertical position guaranteeing their integrity; the material of the rack allows the absorption of the biological liquid in case of spillage. Thanks to the dedicated freeze board (see accessories) it is possible to transport the tubes with the correct temperature.

The rectangular container Vacuette® VTB for 40 tubes is provided with a crosslinked absorbent tube holder that keeps the tubes stand upright ensuring their integrity; the material of the rack allows the absorption of the biological liquid in case of spillage.
In case of necessity to carry containers of urine our secondary container may contain two racks in absorbent sponge for urine containers for a total of 6 urine containers (see accessories).
It has an airtight closure and a transparent top lid so that the operator can visually check for any spillage of biological material.
It also has an internal space for the insertion of the cooling element (freeze board) or the dedicated thermal stabilizer.

The rectangular container for 78 tubes is supplied with an absorbent tube holder that keeps the tubes in an upright position ensuring their integrity; the material of the rack allows the absorption of the biological liquid in case of spillage.
In case of need to transport urine containers, our secondary container can contain two absorbent sponge racks for the urine containers for a total of 12 urine containers (see accessories).
It has an airtight closure and a transparent upper lid so that the operator can visually check for any spillage of biological material and has a space for the insertion of the dedicated siberino (cooling plate).
It is also equipped with a handle for easy intra-hospital (intra-wall) transport.
It can contain any type of rack used in various hospitals (up to a size of 270x125x110 mm). Equipped with absorbent material on the bottom to contain the leakage of biological liquid in the event of a fall
